Much flora and fauna gave there all in the creation of this third phase Chief's blanket. Hand spun wool, acrylic and vegetable dyes are what this rug is made from. Back in the 1960s a tasteful and talented Navajo weaver created this alluring weaving. The time and effort it took are undocumented, but be assured it took a great deal of each. Blankets such as this are uncommon in today's market, not many people want to shear the sheep, clean the wool, dye it, spin it and then weave the rug. Too much work!
